Transfer Students

AUP welcomes transfers from other universities

If you鈥檙e interested in a change and can imagine the benefits of completing your university degree here in Paris, then听AUP invites you to apply as a transfer applicant.听Transfer students bring rich experiences and backgrounds to our student body. We are looking for students who demonstrate an international curiosity and want to pursue their academic interests in a more global context, integrated with the experience of living abroad.听

AUP enrolls transfer students in both the January (spring) and September (fall) semesters. You are eligible to apply as a transfer student if you are a high school graduate (or equivalent) and have completed at least one semester (12 credits) at another college or university.

We understand the importance of knowing about your transfer credits in order to map out the road to your Bachelor鈥檚 degree.听 When admitted, we鈥檒l give you a preliminary indication of how many of your credits may transfer based on the transcript information you provided when applying. (You can try to estimate yourself by using our Course Transfer Tool.)听 Although it will be unofficial, this first indication will allow you to start planning. You鈥檒l get a full, official evaluation of transfer credits when you confirm your attendance to AUP.

Transfer students may bring in as many as 64 semester credits earned from another institution, or up to one-half the number of credits required to graduate from AUP.
